What VARAK does
Open a statement, double-click a line, change a word. VARAK reads the document's own fonts and encodings, works out what each glyph actually is, and writes the change back using the same font — keeping the layout intact and the text searchable afterwards.
When a font can't be reused for a character you type, VARAK embeds a matching one for just those characters and tells you which font it used. When a document's encoding is broken beyond safe repair, it says so and refuses to edit that line rather than corrupting it.
Documents from anywhere
Bank statements, invoices and government forms are where PDF text goes wrong: fonts that aren't embedded, encodings without a Unicode map, subset fonts with no glyph names. VARAK resolves these in one place, so reading, selecting, editing, saving and searching all agree on the same text.
Turkish

Cyrillic and Greek
