Too many PDF apps have taken back what people paid for, moved features behind new subscriptions, or quietly uploaded documents. VARAK is built the other way round, and these promises are how you can hold me to it.
1. What you buy stays yours.
VARAK PDF Pro is one payment. It does not renew, it does not expire, and it covers your Mac, iPad and iPhone together. Updates to the app are free.
2. Nothing moves back behind a paywall.
A feature that is free today stays free. A Pro feature you have bought stays yours. VARAK will never turn something you have into a subscription.
3. No subscription. Ever.
The free 3-day trial is exactly that: it starts only when you choose it, and when it ends nothing is charged. It never turns into a plan.
4. No watermark, no reduced quality.
Not in the free version, not during the trial. A document VARAK makes is a real document you can send to anyone.
5. Your documents never leave your device.
No account, no cloud, no analytics, no server. Editing, OCR, redaction, conversion and signing run on your Mac, iPad or iPhone. The Mac app does not even have permission to connect to the internet — it works in Airplane Mode. The privacy policy sets this out in full.
6. Honest about limits.
When VARAK can't do something safely, it says so instead of damaging your file: text it can't retype reliably is never retyped, and every edit is verified before it is saved. What VARAK can't do yet is listed openly on the support page.
